10 Minite Story |Action|- In Search of Treasure

It was a dark night out on the sea. I had seen this kind of storm before, but this one seemed different. Darker, more mysterious. I was afraid.
I had been out on the sea for days trying to find the island I had heard about from the old man. He made it sound so exciting, I just couldn't stay away. There was a story of treasure more abundant than the waters of the very sea I was floating upon . I had vowed to find it, but that was before... Before this storm.
The waves starting growing, swelling higher than before. My boat rocked back and forth, taking on water. More water than one person alone could pail out as fast as it was coming it.
Through the lightning I could see the outline of the shore. I was nearly there, I hoped my small boat could stay afloat long enough to reach it. Hopefully with the force of the waves I would be there soon, if they didn't push me under first. I all could do was wait, wait and pail out all this water pouring in over the sides.
Minutes passed that seemed like hours, but the storm had finally faded and the waves had rocked me close enough to shore that I dove in and swam as fast as I could through the rough waves. The water was cold, chilling me to the bone, but the sand was warm as I stepped upon the shore. Was this it? Was this the island the old man had told me about? Was this where I would find my treasure? I didn't know, I wasn't sure, but there was one way to find out.
I turned and saw a cave opening in the darkness, just barely visible by being dark than the surrounding darkness. I walked slowly up to it, afraid to go in for I did not have a light. Thats when I saw it; a shining, glistening sparkle from inside. This was it! This was the treasure! I ran full speed into the cave only to be confronted by a monstrous beast. Glowing eyes, burning skin and teeth larger than my body itself. I turned, ran, but the monster followed. How would I ever get the treasure now?
